People say that I look like Mamma, but mentally I am a lot like you. Which is probably true. We know how to push each other's buttons quite well, but we also understand each other and often know what the other is thinking or feeling. So yes, we have had some tense moments and some times that we were so mad at the other, but I feel that I can talk with you a little easier than I can with Mamma (do not tell her).
Here in China, people say their fathers are the comic relief in the family or are the ones who comfort and support their children when the mothers are being too strict or demanding. I think you fall into both categories. We have laughed (or rolled our eyes) at your jokes and humour, but at the end of the day, we go to you for a nice chat about things.
There are more things I want to say, but they will have to wait until I return home. So for now, thank you for all you have done. You are totally going to enjoy the present I am bring back for you!
